This clock won First Place at the 2008 National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors Crafts Competition in the Carved Clock category and an Honorable Mention in the Clock Case Design category.

I designed and carved this clock for the 2008 NAWCC Crafts Competition. The clock was inspired by the black forest clocks of Beha and Wehrle. The animated cuckoo bird is carved of basswood and painted in the traditional style. The bone hands and numerals were carved by Roy Tomlinson. It use a German 7 day spring wound movement and measures 11"x 19"x 28".
